Lash Lift, Filler (& Tint)
Keep your lashes dry for 24 hours.
After 24 hours, cleanse your lashes every day. Your eye health should be your top priority.
If you notice dryness, use a nourising natural oil sparingly like our Cocoa Brow Oil, castor or almond oil.
Avoid rubbing your eyes and waterproof mascara as to get the best longevity out of your newly lifted lashes.
Dependent on your own lash cycle, you can have your lashes re-lifted after 5-8 weeks. Fast growers (does the hair on your head grow fast? If so, your lashes are likely the same) should book in at 5-6 weeks, slower growers should book at 7-8.
Eyelash Extensions
For the best results possible you should aim to arrive with a freshly washed face and no make-up, dirt, or oils on your face. Arriving with make-up on increases the time spent cleaning your lashes, therefore reducing the time spent applying extensions. Even minuscule amounts of make-up will affect your retention, meaning your extensions will not last well due to poor bond points with your natural lash. We will do our best however cannot guarantee our work if you arrive with makeup on.
Your lashes are immediately waterproof thanks to our high quality adhesive and bonder. However, avoid rubbing your eyes when wet.
Cleanse your lashes every day with our Cocoa Lash Shampoo. Use your cleansing brush to gently but thoroughly work in the shampoo using a downward motion, then rinse clean with water. Do not forego this step - your eye health should be your top priority.
Brush your lashes daily, especially when you notice they are growing out or becoming messy. Gently twirl the brush provided through the mid-lengths and ends.
Only use extension-friendly mascara such as the one we sell in-salon. Do not use regular or waterproof mascaras that will close your extension fans and cause retention issues at your refill.
Do not rub, pick, pull at your extensions or use an eyelash curler. Sleeping face-down will also cause premature loss.
Avoid close proximity of your eyes to extreme heat (saunas, lighters, hairdryers, BBQs, ovens) as this can singe and fuse your lashes.
Avoid using oil-based products and setting sprays on or around your lash extensions as excess oils can close your fans and breakdown the adhesive bond.
Refills remove extensions that are too outgrown and therefore twist and turn, as well as keep your lash extensions looking fresh and full. We recommend refills every 2 weeks. Refills after 23 days are considered a full set so please book accordingly. Book online at www.cocoalashandbrow.com.au
